Reinforced Teacher Training - Gujarat Phase

From the Heights of Ladakh to the Plains of Gujarat
In collaboration with the Department of Tribal Development (TDD), Government of Gujarat, Goldenmile Learning implements the need analysis for English teachers, a precursor to the RTT program in state-run tribal schools across four tribal districts—Dahod, Panchmahal, Mahisagar, and Chhota Udaipur. Designed for English language teachers, this initiative enhances classroom delivery, improves student learning outcomes, and strengthens systemic capacity through contextual, skill-based, and scalable professional development for teachers.

Teachers in Gujarat Face a
Training Gap
With about 100 tribal schools run by the state government and a pressing need for English language proficiency, Gujarat presents a complex but critical education landscape.

Key Challenges Identified
Limited Language Proficiency
Many teachers lack the foundational English proficiency required to deliver curriculum-aligned instruction with confidence and clarity.
Conventional Teaching Methods
Pedagogical practices remain rooted in traditional approaches, limiting student engagement and effective knowledge transfer.
Challenges in accessing subject specific professional development.
Schools often lack access to quality teaching aids and structured content, affecting both lesson delivery and learning outcomes.
Diverse Student Backgrounds and Abilities
Classrooms consist of learners with varied linguistic and academic levels, demanding differentiated and inclusive teaching strategies.
Lack of Professional Development Opportunities
Teachers receive minimal access to structured training or upskilling programs, leading to stagnation in pedagogical growth.
Our Approach to Solving the Gap
